St. Margaret of Castello (1287 - 1320) Was born blind and crippled. Her parents were nobles, and to avoid the dishonor of having such a child, they hid her in a room at the age of six, then later abandoned her. The light of God penetrated her heart, and despite her hardships she persevered in her faith and flourished as a third order Dominican. She is the patron saint of the pro-life movement, the unwanted, and the abandoned. This prayer journal contains: four biographies, a novena to St. Margaret of Castello, the St. Margaret of Castello litany, prayers, and 74 lined journal pages.
