The Saint Challenge Day 29 – St. Francesco Antonio Fasani – November 29

In Italy in 1681, Giovanniello Fasani was born to pious parents. At 14, he began studies at the Franciscan friary. He eventually entered the Franciscan order, taking the names of Sts. Francis and Anthony. He preached almost constantly, heard confessions patiently, and loved to pray with and for the poor, the sick, and the imprisoned. The Great Commission that Jesus gave to the apostles can be summed up by the life of St. Francesco Antonio Fasani. As a witness to his life said, “He allowed himself no rest in the salvation of souls.”

CHALLENGE

As Christians, we are all called to undertake the same mission as St. Francesco Antonio Fasani: the salvation of souls. Today, pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you to someone you know who is in need of salvation. Then tonight, before you go to bed, reach out to them with an email, a text, or a short letter. Tell them what the Holy Spirit places on your heart.
